...well, i think they're required - since unless you lay on the floor, drag yourself across it, hang from rafters, etc - what do you have except the shot the singer's girlfriend got - minus the flash, natch...
...so i had the dood who saw the camera and said "oh, i've been shooting here for 35 years"...I replied that I was just kind of a rookie - as i looked at his little GN 40 flash and his GN 54 waistline...
...we then hit the PEDL show - the headliners - i had all access, so I was on stage right up on the drummer, laid of the floor and shot up the nose of the bassist, hit the pit, dragged myself across the floor on my knees and dragged out 20 shots across front stage...
...then came up right behind mr. experience and knocked off a couple of the guitar stage-right and the look i got...
...made the night worth it - but i'm still fuckin' sore...
...damn, robert - wish i'd thought of that - I had all-access to the stage, so i could have done so sitting at the guitar player's feet, shooting out - then i coulda shown everyone my own personal wankerboy!
