...some decisions...

...ordered a d300 - if i had the bucks - would've been the d3 - oh well - still a vast improvement over the d1x...

...started moving some fine art-sy printable stuff to Imagkind...

...wonder how that silly link thing up there works - eh well - no time to figure it out:

...also toying with actually doing my page before the contest closes - after the portraits contest though, i'm not so sure...

Upon my return from abroad in a few months, I've already made an allotment for the D300. I think its a GREAT choice! As for the D3, do you REALLY need 25,000ISO? ... Then again... ;) ... kidding... kidding...

- weeks: if ya know any actresses that need portraits, do lemme know and it'll be a d3 :-P

- Ov: keep in mind you can get the d3 and stick the zeiss 50/1.4 on it - neither will mind manual lenses...

I was thinking about having to build the digital gear from zero so I might consider the sony alpha thing... a700 might be just as good as the d300 but with zeiss lens... however i'll wait and do real thinking about this.
saw the d300 the other day... dunno... nice but not as I thought it would be!

D3 - D300... I envy you for both :-)
I'm especially looking forward to some concertphotography with it.
I'll keep checking for themover here.

Cheers!

...yeah, problem is, i've found myself shooting lots of bands recently and high iso performance is a big issue - for my studio stuff though, yeah, barely any reason to upgrade...

it's okay... I'm still rocking the Canon 10D! Out dated as fuck, but it gets the job done : -)
